Gutschermühle awarded EcoVadis Silber

We are therefore all the more delighted to have received this latest award from EcoVadis:

Gutschermühle was awardedthe silver medal this year!

Having won bronze last year, we have made significant progress and are now ranked among the top 15% of all companies assessed worldwide.

EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading independent platforms for assessing corporate sustainability performance. Since its foundation in 2007, it has assessed over 130,000 suppliers from more than 175 countries and across over 200 sectors. Many international clients and corporations now use EcoVadis as a key benchmark for evaluating their suppliers.

Companies are assessed in the areas of the environment, labour and human rights, ethics , and sustainable procurement and supply chains.

The silver medal shows that we have not only moved up a level, but are now among the clear minority of companies that perform above average in the area of sustainability.

This year, there was a particular focus on environmental issues – including a new policy – as well as on labour and human rights.

This success was only possible thanks to the strong support and collaboration of several departments. For us, sustainability is not the responsibility of a few individuals, but a genuine team effort.

This award is both a recognition of our achievements and an incentive for us. It demonstrates that our shared commitment, cross-departmental collaboration and the continuous improvement of our processes are making a real difference. At the same time, it motivates us to stay the course – with a sense of responsibility, foresight and a clear commitment to embedding sustainability even more firmly in our day-to-day operations, step by step.
