Gutschermühle Traismauer has been in the cereal business since 1866 and first started to produce muesli in the early 1980‘s. Currently more than 150 million bars, 1,000 tons of crunchy muesli and more then 500 tons of organic classic & crunchy mueslis. Turnover for 2008 is forecasted with 16 mill. Euro.

Gutschermühle Traismauer is owned by the Prokop family since 1866.

Today’s CEO is Heinrich Prokop, who works alongside a team of experts, their expertise in the cereal business enables Gutschermühle to achieve the highest quality standards.

We have successfully created a unique business identity for ourselves in Europe by working with our clients – clients who are predominantly international market-leaders in the business.

These cooperations has resulted in Gutschermühle becoming the one of the leading cereal bar and crunchy muesli producer in Europe.

Gutschermühle’s three major product lines are muesli, crunchy muesli and cereal bars.
All our plants were built in the last ten years and receive constant investment to ensure that only the latest state of the art equipment and technology is used to manufacture our products.

In the last 7 years more then 10 mill. Euro were invested to reach that goal - the investments were not only made in production facilities but also in quality control features such as an on line x-ray inspection on our finished products. More then 25 Golden and Silver DLG awards in the last 6 years highlight our technological edge and our devotion to quality when it comes to producing crunchy cereal and muesli bars.
